Rules:
The knock-out format shall apply throughout the event, The following playing
format shall apply:
Up to last sixteen - best of five legs, 501 up, with a straight start and a
double finish. The Match Tie-Breaker Rule shall apply in the fifth leg.
Quarter- and semi-finals - best of three sets, best of three legs, 501 up, with
a straight start and a double finish. The Match Tie-Breaker Rule shall apply in
the third set.
Final - best of five sets, best of three legs, 501 up, with a straight start and
a double finish. The 5th set must be won by two clear legs. The 'sudden death'
rule applies at the 4 : 4 stage. The start of the deciding 9th leg is determined
by a throw for bull; the player, who started the final, will throw
first for bull.
The bracket draw shall be divided into four sections. Each country shall have
one player in each section of the draw. Players from one specific country shall
not meet players from another specific country more than once before the second
round of the draw.
Regeln:
Der gesamte Wettbewerb wird im KO-System gespielt, dabei gilt folgender
Spielmodus:
Bis zur Runde der Letzten 16 wird Best of 5 Legs gespielt, im fünften Leg gilt
die Tie-Breaker Regel.
Im Viertel- und Halbfinale erhöht sich der Modus auf Best of 3 Sets, Best of 3
Legs wobei die Tie-Breaker Regel im dritten Satz gilt.
Im Finale wird über Best of 5 Sets, Best of 3 Legs gespielt. Der fünfte Satz
muss mit zwei Legs Vorsprung gewonnen werden. Die Sudden Death Regel greift beim
Stand vom 4:4 Legs im fünften Satz. Der Beginn des neunten und letzten Leg wird
durch Bullwurf ermittelt, der Spieler, der das Finale eröffnet hat wird als
Erster auf das Bullseye werfen.
Die Auslosung erfolgte in vier Sektionen, wobei darauf geachtet wird, dass in
jeder Sektion nur ein Spieler eines Landes gelost wird. Es wird bei der
Auslosung auch darauf geachtet, dass Spieler einer bestimmten Nation nicht ein
weiteres Mal in der ersten Runde auf einen Spieler der anderen Nation treffen
können. Mit anderen Worten, es kann z.B. nur einmal eine Partie eines Spielers
der Nation A gegen einen Spieler der Nation B geben.
